What do participants think about The Clinical Practice of Cognitive Therapy?

Here are some unsolicited (and unedited) comments made by our students:

“I just want to reinforce what a valuable program this is through Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy. I completed this program over 20 years ago and have never regretted it. It was career changing and extremely valuable. I still use the skills/tools/therapeutic techniques in my practice today and owe Jim and Barb a huge ‘Thank You’ for the impact this course has had in my professional career.”

“I want to add my endorsement to Dr. Glovan’s. I attended about 18 years ago, and it was not only a valuable learning experience, it was also fun and stimulating. It was well worth the drive up from Columbus! More thank yous from me to Jim and Barb.

“Thank you, Dr Fleming and Dr Pretzer. Thanks, Barb and Jim. This very moment I’ m literally crying so hard that it’s even impossible to read your e-mail! I’m happy that I’ve made it but, at the same time, I’m shedding tears of sadness, because I’m gonna miss you guys so much, honestly! I am so blessed to have been able to be part of this outstanding training and wouldn’t have wanted to start my CT journey anywhere else. Your training program is highly recommended or, better yet, needs to be mandatory for everyone who wants to work in the mental health care field.
You totally nail it! I mean, I can totally relate to the guy who had the will to drive for 10 hours straight to get to you! I would definitely do that and, if I ever made it to the States, you would be the first ones on my list that I would like to visit.
I have been only listening to your voices, but I certainly saw 2 humble life partners and unbeatable professionals sharing their love for what they do with us, IN THEIR GREAT WISDOM (as Dr Pretzer used to say jestingly,  but I mean it, literally).
You've given me solid knowledge. You've taught me how to be helpful to others and myself, as well. Believe it or not, you've even given me motivation to go on (I’ve been struggling with harsh family issues for the past few months, so..). You've also made me laugh sooo hard (Dr Fleming, those avoidant guys gotta be so horny!!!). You have been my mentors and my company. I may sound cheesy and kinda creepy, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
At the moment, I’m talking all of my colleagues into taking your course (hehe). If you come up with any other courses, or workshops or whatever, PLEASE, let me know.
Moreover, if you ever fancy coming here, my door will always be open for you! You can even combine your vacation with a presentation of your work to the Greek audience. We have to arrange something like that (Dr Fleming, Italy & Grecia are calling out your name!).”

“I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your course. You take a great deal of time to train new therapists in a thorough and understandable way. Despite your years of experience and your connections with some of the greats in the field, you are down-to-earth and approachable.
As a social worker I love your book [Clinical Applications of Cognitive Therapy, 2nd Edition]. It not only teaches the techniques of CBT, but it embraces the values of client centeredness and empowerment embodied in the NASW Code of Ethics.
Through your teaching you are touching many, many lives.
Thank you.”
