Behavior OnLine (http://www.behavior.net) hosts a wide range of professional forums which are free and open to all mental health professionals (as well as graduate students and residents). The Cognitive Therapy forum (which I moderate) provides an excellent opportunity to discuss interesting issues, ask questions, and obtain up-to-date information.

Options for consultation and training - The Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy offers consultation and training on a broad range of topics. We can provide programs tailored to your needs locally, regionally, and nationally (we've even done one international expedition). An informal network of independent Cognitive Therapy Centers has developed over the years. Many, but not all, of these centers offer some form of training in Cognitive Therapy.

Locating Cognitive Therapy Referrals

• The Academy of Cognitive Therapy is a national organization to which many expert cognitive therapists belong. Their referral directory can be found at http://www.academyofct.org.
• The Center for Cognitive Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania maintains an online listing of Cognitive therapists who trained there or who are known personally to the senior staff. It isn't comprehensive, but it is a good resource. It can be accessed at http://uphs.upenn.edu/psycct/referral/index.htm.
• The Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy maintains an international directory and, while not all AABT members provide Cognitive Therapy, a high proportion of them practice Cognitive Therapy or closely related approaches.
